  5. 05. application

Step 1 - Documentation and credit review

The first stage of onboarding for an nbn® FibreOne Managed Service Provider (MSP).

What is involved

Executing NDA

You’ll be invited to sign a two-way Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with nbn.

Signing the nbn SFAA

The Standard Form of Access Agreement (SFAA) is the contractual vehicle nbn uses to supply FibreOne services to MSPs. The SFAA sets out the obligations that govern MSPs access to our network, while also helping to provide price certainty and nbn’s service commitments.

Conducting a full credit review

A full-credit review will be undertaken for all new businesses. Based on the result of the credit review, nbn may request financial security, which may exceed $100,000.

The release of the financial security will be in accordance with our credit policy.

As part of onboarding, we’ll collect information about your organisation to assess your application. This includes:

  • Assessing your business model to understand the commercial viability of establishing a direct relationship
  • Completing a background security check of your company
  • Reviewing and approving your application through the nbn onboarding team
